A Pile of Rocks
I was marveling at a glob of Martha Stewart glitter that was dried onto the scrap paper I used instead of a drop cloth the other day. It's so sparkly and the colors are stunning. Then I started marveling at the beach rocks on the porch ...
I figured, why not paint the rocks?! What little kid doesn't love a a glittery rock? They're easy, inexpensive, and Emily absolutely loves them! They're going to look adorable in the garden, if she lets me take them out of her jewelry box...

Wreaths of a Feather
Well, it's ten days into the new year, so naturally it's time to start making decorations for the next holiday...
I used a foam floral wreath and wrapped it with a total of four feather boas. Two large, full boas and two thinner, fuzzier ones. :-)
I found this wonderful wooden letter at Michael's. I painted it Lipstick Red then added several layers of Martha Stewart Glitter paint in Tourmaline. I LOVE her glitter paints.

Happy New Year!
80 degrees on New Years Day!
So much has happened in the past year! We got a dog, spent a month in D.C, visited Florida, moved to Florida! Made new friends, saw old friends get married. I really dove into crochet, and opened my little Etsy shop! Oh, what a year!
So long
2011, welcome 2012.
